The 20th anniversary of THE RED SPECTACLES
Soldiers in "Protect Gear", German military style armor
suits,...they are called Kerberos. Fatal drama on
their shoulders have been discribed in movies such as
THE RED SPECTACLES, and StrayDog Kerberos Panzer Cops
as well as comics Kerberos Panzer Cops ("ken-roh
densetsu"), KERBEROS SAGA: Rainy Dogs ("Akai Ashiato")
and animation Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade.
Mamoru Oshii, who is also known as a director of
masterpieces such as Patlabor, Ghost in the Shell, and
Innocence, is the originator of these works.
The works are elements of his original series that
Oshii develops over a period of 20 years, which had
now built up a far-reaching world of "KERBEROS SAGA".
The year 2007 will be the 20th anniversary of THE RED
SPECTACLES, the origin of KERBEROS SAGA.

Emblem was designed by Akemi Takada.
At the end of the 20th Century, Police department
organizes an elite task force that is armed with
special reinforced suits and heavy firearms. However,
the force starts to be criticized for it's radical
investigation and eventually disbanded. Yet, Koichi
Todome, one of the rebellions against the task
dissolution, escapes abroad alone. Three years later,
he returns home and wanders into a labyrinth of dream
and reality....
